San Dimas/La Verne Soroptimist Invites You To Annual Fundraiser!
The members of the Soroptimist International of San Dimas/La Verne (SISDLV) would like to invite you to help make a difference in the life of a child, teacher or scholarship recipient. By joining them at their annual Reaching for the Stars dinner and silent auction on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Fairplex. You will have a fabulous time as you dine and dance in the star studded nightclub with great foods, casino games, live and silent actions and a live jazz band. Back by popular demand, you will dance to the rollicking, infectious tunes of Soundbytes.
SISDLV supports local, national and international programs that benefit women and children. Each year they provide clothes for over 120 needy children from Bonita School District. They award over $3,000 in teacher grants, provide scholarships to high school girls to help with college and grants for local women who are re-entering the workforce. Internationally, they sponsor women in Bosnia to help them enter the workforce building a better future for their family. These are just a few of the programs and services they sponsor yearly.
