Unrush Yourself: Finding Your Rhythm in a Reaction-Driven World
In today’s fast-paced, always-on environment, even the most dedicated leaders can feel stretched, reactive, and overwhelmed. In this engaging and experiential Zoom presentation, music therapist Natalie Duque introduces Rotarians to a powerful but accessible way to slow down internally—without losing momentum or purpose.
Blending neuroscience, rhythm-based regulation, and compelling storytelling, Natalie shows how stress affects the nervous system and how simple rhythmic tools can help leaders reset, regain clarity, and respond with grounded courage rather than reaction. Participants won’t just hear the message—they’ll feel it.
Drawing from both her professional training as a board-certified music therapist and her personal journey, Natalie explains how steady rhythm signals safety to the brain, helping quiet mental noise and restore balance—skills especially valuable for service-driven leaders who give much of themselves to others.
Rotarians will leave with practical tools they can use anytime life or leadership feels loud, along with a renewed sense of calm, clarity, and confidence in how they show up for their families, communities, and organizations.
Natalie has been selected to speak at TEDx Larchmont (June 2026) and the World Congress of Music Therapy in Italy (July 2026).
This is not a lecture—it’s a reset. Because when leaders find their rhythm, they serve with strength they can trust.
